Resolutions

I love New Years resolutions, partly because I'm nuts and enjoy torturing myself. Here they are:

Stop eating treats! All treats! No ice cream, cookies, cakes, pancakes, any kind of cake, jelly beans, jelly babies, any kind of jelly anything. No stuff which the major ingredient is sugar! I have abused this evil crap for far too long and find I need to learn how to live without it.

I must go to the gym just a little more than I have lately. Physical fitness is a little different at this age.

I must stop the self deprecating voice in my head. I am NOT lazy you effing bastard living in my head!

Make new friends.

Write the Pump books and my YA. I will.....AM doing this! I am!

Push my writing further! Reach just that much more. Don't play it safe!

Be your own cheerleader and stop being everyone else's. Bottom line is, those people don't deserve my good-natured cheering. Fuck'em.

Basically, I will stop stress eating and believe in myself. Easy, right?
Not for me but I am going to succeed this year even more than last year.

    Happy New Year, Gregory! Those are some great resolutions. I have yet to make my resolution list. I have one on my list so far. Work out. :o)

    Happy New Year!

    My goal for this year is to remember that the majority of people are good and kind. I will continue to believe this, but I'll save my cheerleading skills to those that deserve it :)

    And what the hell is a jelly baby? It just sounds wrong....but now I want jelly beans.

LIFE

I've been MIA lately. Have I been busy? Oh have I! Last Saturday I received the wonderful news that my novel, Rainbow Hill and my novella, The Boys of Banana Court will be published by Wilde City Press, a new to me publisher. When I received this email I almost fell out of my rolly office chair. To say that I was happy is an understatement. Rainbow Hill took me around 6 months to write and I prayed that someone would agree to publish the sucker. My prayers came true. As for BBC that took me two weeks but I had thought about it for two years but never got around to writing it. I plan to have three more in that series....maybe four. Let's see. I refuse to commit. What's next? A paranormal trilogy! I love vampires and I do believe that I do write them well. My vamps are sexy and quirky and HAIRDRESSERS. How fun is that!?!? Well let me tell ya, it's FUN!
