Well this week I found out that Spanish Heat will be released on April 19th, subject to change of course. I am so excited because I can't wait for you to read it. I loved writing it and I still can't stop thinking about the characters. That's a good thing because they will return in the third Heat installment. I haven't started the story yet but I will soon, I'm dying to get back on the farm. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

      With the release of Summer Heat (doing very well) and the acceptance of Spanish Heat, things are going great. Finally!       Today I will be working on a story set on a cruise ship sailing in the Western Caribbean. Two men that knew each other in high school become reunited after over twenty years. They have  lived very different lives until now, one protagonist was married and had a son and recently came out, the other was always out, never choosing not to live as a gay man. When the two come together there are undeniable fireworks, but will the fireworks fizzle when they return to the port of Miami?       I recently went on a five day cruise where the idea of this story was born. Yesterday I received an e-mail, the e-mail, from my publisher Siren stating that  they wanted to publish the second installment of the Heat Series-Spanish Heat. I was sitting at the cafe in Barnes and Noble writing when I received this e-mail and I almost wanted to hug the old couple sitting beside me that were desperately trying to figure out their new Nook. I didn't. Anyway Spanish Heat begins in Dallas, Texas but the bulk of the story takes place in Barcelona, Spain. I loved writing this book. What's not to love? Spain, Barcelona, attractive men, sangria, sex! All very good things. It will be available in May. I wished it could be sooner but that is beyond my control. I can't wait for you to read it.

God I love Friday. It's not because I'm off on Saturdays, most of my professional career I've always worked on a Saturday. And writing, you're never off. Even when I'm sitting in traffic staring out my car window, I am working. My brain never shuts off. Ever. Anyhow, have a great Friday. I know I will.
